Through Hands-On Workshops
Pipi Weaving workshops teach the participants traditional weaving techniques.
Additionally, participants will be immersed in traditional Aboriginal lifestyle and learn what tools and materials our ancestors used to survive on their lands for thousands of years, this includes learning about some local bush medicines, food and dyes. During workshops everyone is focused on what they’re doing with their hands which encourages the natural flow of yarns and storytelling, making a weaving workshop a great way to engage with fellow peers and colleagues.
All workshop bookings are customisable and can be tailored for ages 3 and over.
At the moment we do not operate out of a studio and so a venue has to be provided (we can however recommend local venues), with a minimum of 10 participants. Bookings can be made by filling out the booking form and we will get back to you with availability.
To make sure that you or your company are getting the best possible experience in learning to weave, we will liaise with you via email or phone to answer any further questions. Suggestions will be made to help with the logistics of bringing a group of people together to weave.
